Default over heating or not

i have a question when im driving my 5.0 for like about 45 min my battery gage starts to down then my rpm and battery gages go all the way down like if they didn't work then my temp gage goes up all the way but my car does not shut down im still driving i dont know what to check for can some one tell me what it is

Sounds like a bad connection. You can verify that with either an aftermarket gauge pack, or by pulling the dash and checking the connector on the back.
