Default 07Modded Gt vs SS with STS turbo kit....

Well another guy around my area has this 2001 or whatever Camaro SS with that single STS turbo kit on the exhaust. I was driving down thestreet and came up to a light with him. He had his GF in the car too.

From a starting roll, from about 20 mph we were even till about 70MPH then he pulled a little bit. He knows I'm on the bottle, so after a couple of roll on's and himtugging on thetop end, I asked for him to pull over real quick and let me turn on the bottle, He said "Na I have my women in the car". I thought to my self ok, but we just did like 3 roll ons, and she was in the car.As a ford guy I didnt say ****, just said alright, and took off.

But thats not it. turning down the street I see a fellow s197 brother. its like he paced me for a second, to see if I wanted to run. he looked over and dropped it into 2nd. I did the same. Then were off, I thought, I should get this guy, but by 3rd we were like dead even. 4th same thing with me nudging a fender,I was like damn this guy has to have some mods. We slowed down and he gave me a thumbs up. I pulled into a upcoming gas station and he followed. his mods were...

cai+tune
UDP
BBK TB
Kooks longtubes
X pipe with exhaust

My mods are in my Sig. Both races I was off the bottle.

Apparantly so. He also said he hung in there from 20 to 70, THEN the SS started to pull. Keepin mind he also has 4.10s with those mods.

Nice runs.

Not for sure what kinda tune he has. He had alot of black smoke. It was probably running real rich. I think with a 75 I could of hung with him or probably beat him. I usually run the 125, which no doubt in my mind I would have beat him.

good race and if that guy didnt tune his camaro after the install his engine might not last that long and that also would explain why you could keep up with him
