Ok ok, all you 'gm' guys stop being so defensive.  You wouldn't be defending your precious 'birds' if the Mustangs wern't pretty fast.  Yeah, bone stock, you're faster.  But not by That much.  So good for you guys, try to buy a new one.  Oops they don't make them any more.  Hmmmmm boy.. the auto makers usually stop making cars that are selling well, yup. Just bustin' balls. My point was that I was surprised my car would even do more than 130.  And the other guy was cool.  We chatted after at the gas station.  Said he was surprised that I almost kept up with him, good run.  I said the same.  Fun times. That's all.
Saying that you're almost as fast as an LS1 F-body is like me saying I'm almost as fast as a 99+ GT.  And Jeep, before you talk about "uniting against imports," shouldn't you get something that can actually win a race?
dude with 3 tickets and 2 wreck your gonna pay..take a driver coarse will help,up your deductable and call around ..Gieco is high they were like 200 a year higher call Progessive and see what they can do
Right. I realize that. I'm paying just over 1100 for my Civic per 6 month term. I don't have time to take a driving course. unless you're going to go to work for me and pay for it too?

Both Progressive and Geico were more expensive than State Farm. But I'm having a bit of a problem from an accident two years ago...I dunno if I'll be with state farm longer if my premiums go up.

So I've been a safe driver with no accidents and no tickets for the past two years and I'm still a hazard because of a mistake from two years ago? Um...yeah....

I let actions speak for me in this department, as I've only lost to drag CRX's and Civics (like...off the trailer kind of s**t) as far as imports are concerned. So why don't you realize I'm going to speak my mind and back up the words in an unconventional way?

Who the f**k am I kidding, people like you never will understand. f**k off.

My car does run a 15.6, very true, and I've yet to be beaten by a street hampster. Doesn't speak too kindly to them in my book if they can't beat a 15.6 with more money dumped in it.

People like you are those with closed minds who refuse to look at the world un-biased. Hondas do make great motors. Great bike and lawnmower motors, but in the car department, I'd personally rather have a domestic with torque.

And unbiased?  Dude... my first car was a Corvette.  I like ALL types of cars.  There's a good chance my next car will be an LS1 WS6, LT4 Vette, or something else torquey and RWD.  But this one isn't, and I still love it.

Sorry man 15.6 isn't something to be cocky about. I mean mine runs 15.9 and against your car with a good jump, the race is as good as mine. Guess what? I own a stock 2000 Si. I'm not cocky about it. My car=slow. period.

Dude, I'm not cocky, I'm defensive. Learn the difference. If I was cocky, I would have come in here with the belief that I can smash every car by 2 seconds.

And GSR, for a n/a, sub 2L motor, it packs a decent amount of torque. Nothing like a V8, but not half bad either.

Dude, you've been hanging out in Mustang forums way too long. The f-bodies do not have any more problems than most other cars and if they do, the speed makes up for it

no, ive been reading reviews, looking up reliability, all that s**t.  speed is cool, but not at the price of having your car fall apart...and a lot of peoples have.

Jug, and I've found thousands against the Mustangs and a fair amount of Ford cars in my time too, on TV, internet, and printed media.

So what's your point?

Far more of the F-Bodies have problems than mustangs in the sources I have found.  And is it possible they were 3.8 stangs, cause I know those have problems
