no I do not belive that there is some mythical person out there directing and punishing and rewarding everyone for what they do..

People should try to have morals simply because is a humanist thing to do not because they are scared.

When you consider how enormous our planet is... and it's just a speck in our solar system... and our solar system is just a speck in our galaxy... and our galaxy is just a speck in the universe... well, it's all a difficult thing to wrap your head around. For all we know, the entire vastness of our universe could just be a proton in an atom of a much, much larger universe... and maybe every atom in our universe has a much smaller universe in it. Humans trying to understand God is like a dog trying to understand algebra... it'll never happen. Maybe we'll get all the answers when we die... or maybe there ARE no answers.

That's how I feel. I don't think we'll ever understand the "science" of this. Which is why faith plays a huge role when it comes down to whether you believe or not. It's easy to to believe if you don't like at it at a technical stand point but when you do... too many rules seem to be broken and not meshing together correctly.

So do I believe.. I don't know. I have lots of questions and I'm too curious to believe because when I think about it... if God created all there just HAS to be a creator of God but than again you cannot create nor destroy matter... but is God matter? It's just like trying to grasp that the universe is forever. Try picturing that in your head... it's incomprehensible.

This is probably why most want science and religion seperate because once you deal with the science of God... things get kind of fishy.

the existence of god itself, ESPECIALLY the way people think of it, is not logically possible.  the idea of "god" is obviously that of a superior being of some sort, but many people expect the forces involved to go contrary to the laws of physics on occaision.  our explanation for "God" is just our way of explaining things we do not understand, or a way to find "meaning."

god is man's creation; and "he" exists only because we think he does.  since you can't prove it, its only in your mind.  perception is the only indicator of reality.

no, i don't believe in god.  but i don't reject the possibility; i just don't think there can ever be proof.

this topic has been covered over and over and over again.

there is no point in believing in a religion. i persoanlly think, that the fact that there are som many, is proof in itself that its fake.

you could live your entire life...devoted to a god. Die, and find out its the wrong one...so you are going to hell?

whos heaven or hell do you go to tho? which religion's?

and dont even get me started about hypocritical christians, whos entire religion is based around a JEW.

Just because you are Christian does not mean you are racist or anything against Jews.
That has nothing to do with anything.
Yes Christianity was stemmed from Jewish beliefs, but they key difference is Christians believe the Messiah was Jesus, while
Jews believe he is yet to come. Jesus' race has nothing to do with it being hypocritical.

That in no way makes it hypocritical.

Im not gonna debate people's belief in God one way or another but the fact that Christianity was formed out of the Old Testament
and went other ways because the Jewish people believed Jesus was not the Messiah has nothing to do with this... it is not hypocritical at all.
