That would be up to God would'nt it?

But if you do not believe in God or either religion then it should have no bearing on your mind.

I corrected my statement :P
I said or either religion.
Forgive the typo and don't take it as those are the only two religions or that you might not believe in a God at all.

I never said you don't believe in God... but if you did'nt, then it should'nt have a bearing on your mind.
Same for if you do not believe in either religion.

Jesus Christ FTW!

While me and my fellow travelers are walking on streets of gold in the Kingdom of God, the rest of you heathens will be down in hell pumping thunder at .02 cents a clap.
Bon Voyage!

Dunno if this was a joke or not, but don't forget that simply saying you believe in Jesus means you are going to heaven according to Christianity.
Condeming people yourself sure won't help you get there.

Half joke. Half serious. I am a God fearing man and a Christian to boot and I have no doubt that Jesus Christ was sent down here as the Son of God and died for my sins.

I'm not going to get into a Sunday School lesson here, but I don't condem anybody, they do that to themselves. I just ponted out the consequences of their beliefs.

but since he said he believes in jesus he's all good and he doesn't need any help anyways

IMO it's alot more than that.... I don't believe in any of the jibber jabber that comes with the belief system.... I believe there is a god and I will live my life the way I think it should be run in being a good person... nuff said

asking repent is a load of BS along with about 8 billion other things that supposedly comes along as a package with the god wagon.... why can't someone just believe that he is there and move on with their life.

Am I the only person that doesn't feel the need to defend myself and force my beliefs?.... when someone says they don't believe in god it doesn't effect me in the least and I say "good for you" and give em the thumbs up and just live life... who cares what other people think, the fact every god thread that comes along I see you forcing beliefs and preaching gospel to people that don't want to hear it is the worst of the worst IMO

I don't believe in forcing beliefs either.
You cant FORCE someone to believe something in their hearts really.
If someone came to me wanting information I would be happy to share it, if someone asks my beliefs I am happy to share them.

If you look in that thread you will see I never tried for force my beliefs on anyone.
Arguing your position on your beliefs does not mean you are trying to force someone to believe anything.
The thread was about beliefs, and I answered a question asked about beliefs but I did not force my beliefs on anyone.

I don't force my beliefs on anybody however if presented the chance to witness, I do.

I don't go door to door, I don't stand on the street corner thumping the Bible, but when a thread like this is on the table, I will speak my piece.

theres a difference between stating beliefs and moving on and just not caring what other people say.... as opposed to stating beliefs and then trying to argue your beliefs with other people, in the end it's just a chevy vs. ford debate, one group pulling thing after thing into the conversation and vice versa

If everyone had the same outlook I did on the matter that thread would had gone MAYBE 3 pages... and there wouldn't be other members pissed off at other members for things said defending their "beleifs". because as always in a lengthy debate, things are said SOMEWHERE that totally appaul a person and it was something that really diddn't need to happen

when someone says "prove it!"  I say "f*ck you!"... my beliefs are mine to have and I shouldn't have to justify them to anyone... I'm still trying to work through my mind that other people shouldn't have to justify their beliefs to me on different matters and I'm working on it, as everyone isn't perfect... but the fact is that little sentence saves alot of headaches not just in religeous debates but throughout your entire life, once you learn not to take things personally there isn't much that can touch you mentally

this outlook saves alot of typing time trust me

I would like to believe that there is this all powerful, merciful being out there somewhere that has a plan for everything watching over us all.  Problem is that I can't blindly believe in something as intangible is that.  I guess my mind is too analytical, it craves facts and proof for everything.  I guess you could call me Thomas in that respect...

That is well said. I am working on it too.
I don't feel I NEED to justify my beliefs all the time but I do like to debate though, on many things.
Especially when bored.
