which X pipes or H pipes are the best for an 03 mustang? im also thinking about putting in the magnaflow catback exhaust. any feedback? i want a nice deep tone to my mustang. so im guessing i should change the H pipe?

    X-pipe is the way to go, well at least in my opinion. I have a pypes non-catted X-pipe and no complaints. it has a good deep rumble and would probably sound good with a magnaflow cat-back.

Here is what i have, see if you like...

2 1/4 inch piping
flowmaster 40's
"H" pipe
All cats removed
3" SS magnaflow tips  (go with 3.5" rolled tips, it will fit the holes better)

General rule of thumb for our lovely ohv motor:

H- deeper
X- raspier/louder

I've gone through 4 exhaust setup's with my current one as my favorite. If you can't get longtubes then ditch the cats for some decent sound.
