I have been interested in lowering my car after someone suggested it in the post I made about what to get for Christmas. My questions are: Does anyone have pictures of a lowered V6 Mustang? And does it require any other modifications? Is it cheap to have someone install?

I got the Eibach Pro-Kit last winter and love everything about it (looks, handling). I didnt have the ability to rent a spring compressor so I had to pay to get them installed and also get an alignment it was a lil over 400$ but I think it was well worth it I will get you some pics when I get my car back!

Heres mine, Vogtland springs, 1.5 in lower and I did it myself, took about 2.5 hours for both you need a spring compressor (rented it) and had the car realigned after just to be safe.

Go to Taco Bills hotlinks for instructions on how to do this.

I was open to the possibility of lowering my car in the future, but not now.

My mid-mufflers already scrape on certain speed bumps. And that's at stock height.

I'd hate to think of the racket (and damage) I'd do if I lowered it.

Ugggh!

No scraping or hitting bumps and my set up is LOW!
@sam I got my springs from Hotpart.com and the cost $177 shipped, its a great spring and if I'm not mistaken they make FRPP and STEEDA springs as well just differnt ratings as far as compression. They are one of the better companies I've delt with.

I like the new stance a lot, but with 4 way roush springs and stock 16"s i scraped bottom a few times. Seem I hit on the lower end of Hellig sway bar brackets on rear. My rear dropped 1.5 and front dropped 1.25 with the new springs. It took me about 20 minutes to do the back and about 2 hours for the front. I had to repair the spring compressor tool before i could get the stock struts out. Pics are with my old stock 16" wheels. I now have 17" take off's and the clearance is up about 1/2 inch from the ground.

no pics but i lowered mine with the steeda springs 1 in all around,  looks rides and handle great for what i need.  i also got the steeda panhard bar.  i didnt need a camber kit because i was still able to get the alinement in specs.  it took me and a coworker 2 hour to lower and aline on a saturday at work.  i had all my tools handy, but it could have been done without a spring compessor.

Will the Roush GT springs work for our cars, or do they make a V6 spring I am not aware of??
Thanks
