Default Check Brake System Message

Anyone having this problem with their car? Mine seems to turn on during the afternoon not morning or evening. My ABS light, parking brake light and my Traction Control Light turns on. My TC gets disabled. Anyone know what's wrong? I checked my brake pads they are fine and I have plenty of brake fluid. Would low power steering fluid maybe cause it because it seems to be a little below the MIN line?

i dont think power steering fluid would be the problem since it has nothing to do with the brakes...sounds kindof like there is a short somewhere...take it to the dealership...should be warranty work

Usually the brake light coming on means that the ABS computer has failed and needs to be fixed. As for the other lights I'm not sure.

The thing is it doesn't always come up and it works fine when it doesn't.

Its caused by a bad wheel sensor. My car does it from time to time, too.

I had the same exact problem. It was caused by a bad brake fluid level sensor in the master cylinder. Whenever the engine compartment got hot, it would malfunction. If yours is bad, you can check it by opening up the hood and unplugging it the next time you have the symptoms (the sensor wiring plug is on the left side of the MC reservoir and really easy to unplug). If everything goes back to normal when you unplug the sensor (and goes back to s**t when you plug it back in) then its the sensor. My dealor replaced the MC reservoir (the sensor is an integral part of the reservoir) and now everything is A-ok, but it took 3 trips to the dealer (with them finding nothing wrong - since the car wasn't completely warmed up when they checked it) before a mechanic told me how to troubleshoot it. Once I isolated the problem for them, the dealer fixed it under warrantee
