driving home one night, minding my own buisiness, a hyundai santa fe flies by me and throws on his flashers. i don't even know what to say to this, but im not about to go do something stupid just to show up some shmendrick in a mid grade SUV, so i just ignore it. we pull up to the next light and i roll down my window and before i have a chance to say anything, the kid, about 19-20ish maybe, is like "hey you wanna race my friend's camaro?" im like not tonight, but what does he have? turns out its a kid i know with a 12.89 LT1 (on M/t slicks).............what i would think would be a fantastic race.
does this ever happen to you? i'm not sure how id feel if i had a friend going around town to every fast car he sees asking them if they want to race me.

that has never happen to me, but what did happen was a 90+ minivan with 3 guys (17-18 years old) flew by me and put the blinking lights so i think my gto lost to a fast minivan [:'(]

I have a crazy story.. im with my stepsister taking her to get a new alternator.. we're about to go over this small bridge and these 2 guys in a child molester van (the white ones without any windows).. are yellin about my car how badass it is and blah blah blah (the Cobra of course).. and the other guy yells to the car next to him - "HEY YOU GOTTA RACE MY FRIEND NEXT TO ME IN THE COBRA" happens to be a Hyabusa and a Gixxer 750, lol.. That ever happen to you? Have a COMPLETE stranger try to set you up in a race, lol

I had some kid beg me to race his friend...it was a stock Formula Firebird (LT1) 6 speed that wanted to run my auto LT1 (3.42s, 2200 stall, shift kit, ported heads, cai, free mods, a/c delete, no cat, and a tune)...
Kid claimed his friends car was going to stomp my ass because he was a manual and I had an auto.
WTF? Same car...stock vs modded and he was thinking the transmission was going to give him the win.
Race never happened... I finally gave in and told him I would waste the gas... unfortunately when we were going to line up a mutual friend bumped into him and informed him he was in for an assraping...kid backed out.

Ive had that happen a few times.. When I had the vert, a guy came up and challenged me to race his friends turbo'ed integra.. was supposed to be a fully worked bad ass car.. bet it may have high high 13's at best (and here I was running mid 12's...). It wasnt pretty. lol.

I have only really had it happen once. I beat a guy in his MX3 or something and he told me he would go home and get his friend w/ a "Fast as hell" integra to beat me. I told him to meet back in an hour. He decided against it.[align=left] [/align]

About 6 months ago I had a ricer ask me if I was going to be out the next weekend. I said yes, he replied good I have a "Little honda civic he wanted me to race" come to find out it was a buddy of his 10 second car. I declined 10s > 12.0s...
