well let me start it out with my GT got T-boned today a lady ran a stop light in a old lumina. Some of the witness say she was at least going 80 mph. I dont know but it spun me around 3 times then i got hit in the frontj but anyways my front bumber is off and the hood and fenders are crushed in like half way the passanger side door is siiting about a foot in, the windows on the passenger side are broke, the rear panel is smashed in. the rear bumber is shifted and the paint is all cracking off, the trunk latch has about a 3inch gap from the rear fender panel.

Let me start by saying that while it sucks that your stang got totalled, it is good that you were able to walk away from it. When the ins company totals the car, you might inquire about buying it back for the salvage fee and eBaying the parts that are still good. (the engine alone will get ya a pretty penny)

Often, you can buy em back for pennies on the dollar and part em out. Then, when the insurance Company pays ya of, you can get a new car and have extra $$ to make modifications.

Again, Good to know that your car can take that kinda shot and you walked away....

I always hate to hear about a fallen comrade stang. []

But, like everyone else said, atleast you're ok and not seriously injured. If the car does get totalled, atleast you can get something else that you'd like, maybe a cobra or a new GT or something?

Good to hear you're alright. Think of it this way, if there was another color you wanted or maybe you wanted a convertable, might even be worth waiting till the fall for a mach1... And if you can buy it back as salvage and ebay parts, i'm sure you'd make a nice profit. It just stinks to have to go through all of the head aches before you get to drive a stang again (not to mention dealing with insurance companies).
