Well as some of you may know i bought the V6 side exhaust kit for my stang. priced at 1400, i was expecting a bad ass kit, fairly easy install, and a very agressive looking car. to keep it short and simple, the side skirts and rear valence look trashy as hell. after racking my brains on the install, and being on and off the phone with cervinis, since....it came with no instructions....they first told me it had to be welded from the x-pipe to the stock cats, than it changed to i could do it myself. than came connecting the mufflers, again first they said they should slide into eachother, than they said i need to buy a $30 exhaust coupler from ford. after all was said and done, i fired it up. dont get me wrong it sounded nice, but upon driving, my car all of a sudden got a TERRIBLE vibration. 3k and up the car shakes like mad. and worst of all, somewhere along all the clamps and fitting, their is a leak because my idle is around 1800.....o and best of all, it scraps when you hit any dip or drop in the road....my car is stock height, i can only imagine for those who are lowered. bottom line im going to call them tommrrow, but i would NOT reccomend getting this, its not worth the money, or the headaches im going to be having trying to fix all my problems.......

Roush has always used side exhausts on their Mustangs as a sort of recognizable trademark, but they skippedthat on the S-197 based models they've done. I think that indicates something. I always thought it was weird that several companies have stated that side exhausts on this platform weren't practical for clearance reasons, but Cervini's just jumped in anyway.
Sorry to hear about your headaches, hopefully they'll be willing to work out an agreeable solution with you.
What a pisser. Don't take NO for an answer when you call them. This is why I'm hesitant to do a body kit. I like the looks of the SSE kit, but I just don't want any fitment issues or headaches. Maybe I'll just have a good body shop do it, andit's screwed up, as least I can blame them.

take it to a muff shop and have them try to save your exhaust. dont rely on clamps and fittings. needs to at least be tack welded. go luck man. still give you respect for trying out the kit. you definately took one for the team.
they said they can only give me a refund on my un touched body panels, im gonna call again later and talk to the service advisor, they said you cant return their product one the car and been turned on.....BS since they mention nothing about clearance or the horrible feel and sound they have. ill keep u posted..........

You may also want to try Band Clamps instead of the standard U-bolt clamps that probably came with the kit. They're more expensive but will keep exhaust leaks to a minimum on non-flarred fittings.
