I think the biggest issue here is the low clearence directly in the center between the front and rear wheels. It probably wouldn't be an issue if the low hanging parts were close to the rear wheelwells. As it is, I can see it being a constant headache.

It's funny, on another thread someone is flamming the hell out of True Fiber for something they heard about bad customer service and telling everyone to buy Cervini hoods because of great CS. I guess all companies have issues from time to time.
Good luck with your problems, I think the side exhaust is a sweet looking set up.

it is sweet, i wish ford would have given some thought when they made the new body style, to make side exhaust more practical....

I just built a side exh. system off the BBR style and ran my pipes just behind thd rubber wipers I used 3' pipe welded the side pipes together then pressed then down to 1 1/2 " I have no clearance problems and they sit 1/2' lower than the stock pipes . I looked at thd cervini style but did not care for were the pipes bent around the LCR. Try looking into squishing the pipe thinner, dont worry about the flow the restriction will give you back your back pressure.

I didn't have time to take pics tonite but will after work tomorrow. After making my own  exh I think anyone that wants to run side exh the best way is to run a flow master single offset inlet, with a dual outlet , and attach it to the stock pipe. Use a 4"x9" oval muffler this will put the muffler just under the driveshaft ,I really don't like the sound of my first muffler and the  true duals, but I'm working on a new style to try to get a deeper sound by using thicker rectangular tubing and adding more baffles instead of straight thru. I've only had it on for a week and it is sounding better than at first, again I hope to have pics tomorrow and don't get upset anything can be made to work.

They skipped it because of the scraping issues and the fact that the new stangs have a lower stance and they didn't sell as much previously so they scraped the idea and Cervinis said they could do it! (which is true to a point) the System is great for show cars and weekend drivers that plan on where they go. I never go up curbed drivways and put on the hazards when going over railroads and any speed bumps. Sorry about all the problems w/ exhaust and its setup. Sucks big time- but I have the side exhaust and have had no issues of what so ever but I am NOT lowered except in the back and I have a GT so the suspension is different I suppose (maybe a bit lower). Everything can be done in your driveway and I have not welded anything (only clamps) and everything is tight. I do get a little drone at 1800 RPMs but it goes away as fast as it shows and really is not a bother to me. Let us know what Cervinis does about this and I hope you are happy with the sound when all is said and done!   J

Roush has always used side exhausts on their Mustangs as a sort of recognizable trademark, but they skipped that on the S-197 based models they've done. I think that indicates something. I always thought it was weird that several companies have stated that side exhausts on this platform weren't practical for clearance reasons, but Cervini's just jumped in anyway.

Sorry to hear about your headaches, hopefully they'll be willing to work out an agreeable solution with you.

i've got a weird vibration, can i see your exhaust gt500? i know the sound may be different from the V6 to the V8, but overall it just seems like im leaking or rattling somewhere.

if im looking at the correct picture then i definetly do not see new side skirts, you paid 1400 for a side exhaust kit that sits below the existing skirt, no wonder it hits. go to midas or a shop like that and they can re-weld everything so it doesnt rattle and put on one of those horizontal pipe tips. correct me if im wrong.

i felt the sideskirts looked WAY to trashy, is a tip really going to make ANY difference in sound, vibration, or rattle?

This is just a suggestion...Ask Cervini's to exchange your setup for the GT side exhaust. I know that the stock GT H-Pipe will weld up to our V6s with a little cutting and bending. Then just install the GT skirts and exhaust. Lots of us V6ers are running GT exhaust. I would think it could work.

it is the V8 kit, all they did for the 6er kit was include an x-pipe, hence the price was 200 more than the GT kit.
