See my post "whipple videos".  there are also numerous videos on youtube.com.  I took those videos with the windows up by the way.  You have to give it about 1/2 throttle to hear the whine.  If you have the stock exhaust then all you'll hear is whine.

I have Ford stingers and an off-road H pipe and I cannot hear any whine at all over the sound of the exhaust...windows up or down.

Well I would think not!  I had the stinger for awhile before getting the whipple.

Did you see my idle video?

I agree....but if you have a loud exhaust setup or the exhaust exits out the side you will have much less noticeable sound (whine) from the S/C. I have a dyno run I will send you in a bit and you can hear the whine nicely but that is with the hood up and me in front of the car during the run on the dyno.   J   On the street all I hear is the exhaust and feel the pull!!!  FTW!

I am still waiting for Whipple to complete the SC for the 2008. Aparently they are not the same as the 05 - 07. Not sure why. Does anyone know the differecne between the 05-07 and the 08?

Same thing with the Chrome Valve Covers.

I am pretty sure the HO kit runs 8 psi out of the box

8 PSI is what the Steeda guys are telling me. Any more than that and you have to do internals.

10 psi and a good tune with conservative injector slopes and mass air transfer functions will be just fine on the stock motor...

Whipple HO's come with a 10psi pulley.  Thousands of people run at this level all the time with no problems.  With the Ford tune I would say you are very safe as it is ultra conservative.

Even with a nice safe dyno tune I doubt you would run into a problem.

Personally I am torn between a whipple HO or a turbo, but if I get the whipple I will run it at 8psi for safety as I am a Murphy's law type of guy.
