I've heard good things, but they didn't seem to know what came with the whipple HO kit. They tried to tell me it didn't come with dual pumps, rather that was extra. Probably just an honest mistake.
Moose, I think you may have James @ RTWD mixed up with another vendor. You didnt know who he was until I had James contact you after your purchase from anther vendor. James has excellant pricing for the kits and he can tune your stang. Out of all the vendors I contacted about the kit for my car, James knew the correct kit and answered all questions. How do I know? I PM'ed and called Dutin @ Whipple before calling any vendor.

You folks are a little to uptight. I love the Roush and the Saleen's. I was not disrespecting anyone. I just wanted something that is not as distinguishable as the Saleen's and Roush's. We have a ton of both in my area! Plus I have friends who work for both. And you know what? They love my Steeda! I never said a bad thing about either of them!!! So Shut The F Up loud mouth!!!
Hey 06Saleen3v - your car is nice but it won't stand a chance with my Steeda. 301rwhp and 316rwtq is not even close. I have 350rwhp and 360 rwtq and the only reason it is that low is the Whipple HO is not ready for the 08 Model yet. So once it is ready, I will have the Whipple HO SC which will put me over 425 rwhp. And your opinion about yours looking better than mine is subjective opinion. I am even sure you could rally a bunch of supporting fans. But then so could I!

Why don't you pick up any of the Mustang Mag's over the last year (2007) and Steeda has more Win's than Shelby, Saleen and Roush in the past year. Steeda is also relatively new so I should have put a disclaimer in it regarding this past year for sure and included dates and a legal disclaimer for your neurotic tendencies.

Thanks Hammeron! I hope so. I wanted to get it done when I got the car but there is something different about the 08's and Whipple had to build a new proto-type (They are workign with Steeda jointly). I have no idea what is different for why the 07 Whipple does not fit. I have asked a couple of times and never been given an answer yet.
I heard the valve covers from the 05 - 07 don't fit either. I wanted to get some chrome covers and no one had then in October yet for the 2008.

In about two to three months, Ill have 450rwhp...bring it

06Saleen3V - Which SC are you going with? Are you planning any internals as well? Without doing internals I am a little leary about 450+rwhp plus the torque on the tranny.
I have to wait for the Steeda and Whipple guys to let me know what they go to market with before i decide. If it's going to be over 450 then I will probaby wait until next winter and do some internal work before I go that high!
I would hate to break something before I really understood the limits.
