Either that or installer error, lol. White face gauges are one of the best interior mods i have done. I always get compliments on them.

i got mine from http://whitegauges.net/
theyre not a cardboard overlay, but more of a window tint, static vinyl style. a little light slips through around the needles but its not that bad. overall it was fairly easy to install, and i have yet to have a problem with them.

dallasmustang.com. great gagues. they are the same plastic that the stock ones are made of and look stock. just white. i have never had any problems with them.

Well i left my old face on, and just overlayed the whiteface over it. Then i wired it so that they light up (blue/green). By doing that i never had to take out the little stop sticks. I have had mine for about 2 1/2 years and i have never had a problem. Soo if anyone buys these, just leave the old face on and place the new one overtop. Just be sure to align all the lettering for the messages on the bottom.

no, it is just the overlay. the stock ones are just a plastic type material overlay. the white faced ones from dallasmustang are the same way. you pull off the old and stick on the new. you dont have to worry aobut getting any letters or anything lined up since its all new, not an overlay over the old ones.
and on the miles are stored in the cluster itself. you have to swtich out the little computer inside the cluster to get it to work. depending on what kind of cluster your putting it there could be more to it than that.

I got mine from MAC, and they went in really easy no issues, other than my retarded ass puting the speedo needle in 4mph slow. Thank god for my navigation correcting my speed.
