I went to the local Ford dealership recently and was “just looking” at Mustangs. The selection of regular GT’s was poor; but they did have a 2007 Shelby GT on the showroom floor.

Well, guess who ended-up buying it…that would be me! I had been driving Jeeps for the past 20 years and thinking about getting something with some power. Although, I spent quite bit more than planned-this car is a blast.

Just a few comments/questions/observations:

This thing is fast, especially when the rpm’s get above 4K.
Why do the heated seats cycle-off after 10 minutes-its cold here in the Northeast!
The exhaust note combined with the cold air intake whistle while the motor is under stress rival the Shaker 1000.
The Shelby GT front grill is downright mean looking.
Could the cup holders be placed out of the way of the shifter?
Has anyone read the Four of Kind article in the June 2007 edition of Car and Driver? F*** Car and Driver!
Just 20 more years until it becomes a collectable and doubles in price.
My sister went out and bought a 2008 regular GT a week later-noticeable difference in suspension feel.
Did I mention this thing is fast?
When do heads stop turning?
