The new Speed of Sound center dash gauge pods achieve their excellent sight lines and precise fit from a strict manufacturing process. Injection molding, thermoforming, and CNC machining of ABS plastic is utilized to produce every part. 3D solid modeling and digitizing ensure accuracy unmatched by any market alternative. Custom dye blends the part with your OEM dash in effortless fashion.

Concept 1, full base assembly for a clean look with hidden wires,

Extremely durable injection molded ABS gauge pods (US Patent# D529,422) can endure the hottest parking lots in the world without breaking a sweat.
Thick (.090") thermoformed ABS base assembly, featuring CNC milled edge for precise fit on the dash.
CNC machined ABS mounting points for easy installation, with included 3M adhesive tape.

Concept 1: Absolutely
NO DRILLING required for installation! Wiring runs under the base panel and into the defrost vent, leaving no trace. Remove and return to stock if necessary! Speed of Sound recommends professional installation for the wiring portion of this installation.
Concept 2:
DRILLING IS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION! Three holes (two 3/8” mounting, one 7/8” wiring) must be drilled into the OEM dash board. We have included an adhesive vinyl template to assist you in the proper placement. By purchasing this product, you acknowledge this modification is not reversible and assume all responsibility for its installation and thereafter. The dash board is an expensive part to replace. Please consider professional installation unless you are completely confident in your ability to perform the job.
Fits most all popular brands with precision (Autometer, Speedhut, DEFI, Ford Racing, Stewart Warner, VDO, Cyberdyne, Dakota Digital, etc.)
DOES NOT fit Glowshift, SPW, Megan Racing, or Prosport gauges (depth issue)
