LT1's respond great to a 383 rebuild.

Spray until she blows up, just put away enough money so if it happens soon, she won't be parked for a long time.

A lot of people do this with 3rd gens, they pick up a LT1 and swap it in for the L98 motor. The problem is, cops spend a majority of their time idling. Idling on a push rod motor isn't exactly the best thing for one ;)
