-V6's get 2mpg better in city and on the highway
-V6's weigh about 130lbs less than a GT, V6 has cheaper insurance rates
-V6 isabout $6k cheaper than a GT, mods are cheaper for the V6
-Some of the same mods for the GT are cheaper for the V6
-Superchargers for the V6 are generally $1k less than superchargers for the GT
-The V6 has better reliability than the GT due to lesshp percubic inch.

obviously the 16" skinnies!!.....those things are WAY TOO sick!!......i didnt feel worthy so i switched them with GT bullits...........also the v6 rocker panels are less stress if they get scratched compared to the nicely painted GT rockers.[8D]

Never thought of that, but you're right - rockers WILL get scratched, there's no way to protect them.

This is not correct! You can't resist posting can you?
As for insurance, that is not correct as well. Insurance is a moving target, it depends on too many factors, to include but not limited to:
-Age
-No of years driving
-Color of car
-Driving record
-Type of car
-Model of car
-Location
-Plan
-Type of use
I've seen GT owners with less insurance, and V6 owners with more and vice versa. Though all things equal, it is generally cheaper to insure a less powerful car, that has a lower blue book value. The autox guys tell me the V6 is slightly better balanced from a weight perspective when all things are equal. And you can build up a v6 smart, and for less money though the potential is not as much. But it depends on the deal you can get on the car, another moving target (xplan, price negotiation, loan rates, etc.). Building an 11 second v6 is actually very affordable, and attractive if you do your research and learn from others mistakes. Email me if you want my long list of mistakes! LOL.

Well what about the engine itself? I hear it is built stronger and better than the 8's and it revs faster right? That would mean that it hits it's power band faster than an eight would. Correct me if im wrong.
