I think I have about $12,000 to spend on this car right now, and I think I will spend about $10,000 of that.  Not all at once...probably within the next year or so.  The money is actually all the money I've saved for "entertainment"...food, movies, games...but I think I want to spend it on my car instead.  Still going to school so I have a while until I have to put downpayments on houses and things like that

What would you guys do if you had $10,000 to spend on a stock mustang?

My thoughts are:
$2,000 on suspension work, not sure exactly what parts but I have a pretty good idea.
Possibly new rims...either GT500 or GT4 Either ones being about $800.
New exhaust system...I have no clue what to get or the price on that.  Just know I like the older sounding rumbling.  Probably no X-pipe.
Looking into some cosmetic pieces, rear spoiler (Roush or Cervinis), painted stripes (gold), CDC chin, and possibly a side louver..although I'm not real sure.  Including paint, those could be about $2,000.
Last but not least I'm looking into getting a package from Brenspeed.  Brenspeed Upgrade Package either stage 3 or 4.  About $6,000.  Packages are here- http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/saleen.html.

That is almost $11,000 without any installation...so I'm already over

What would you guys do or suggest doing?  I'd appreciate it if it was a little more detailed than mine, I was just giving a general idea what I had planned.

Edit. Forgot to add 3.73 gears.

lol becuase right now i'm 20 insurance does not let me enjoy the full potential of the car, plus i love investing and the market. 10,000 compounding for 15 years can become A LOT of money lol. I'm just biased because I'm about to become and investment banker so I'm big on early investin. But in all seriousness I'd probably buy a set of rims/tires, full suspension, roush front fascia, roush spoiler, cervini side scoops and window louvers and cowl hood, then invest the rest, but only because i LOVE my car

You could spend half of that and give the rest to charity...it just so happens I started one up this week....lol....Seriously though I would start with one of the S/C Packages from Brenspeed then go suspension(Eibach), exhaust system(Mac) and a body kit you like.....By the time you get just that stuff you will be out of money

you'll get the most fun from a S/C.  IMO.... get the S/C about 7500 installed and tuned.  $2000 suspension - lowered/lca/uca/relocation brackets/adj panhard bar, $500 on Drag Radials

Supercharge it. If you don't you will regret it. I know i did!!

Add some forged internals for about $2K, set up boost at 14-16psi with some drag suspension for $1K.
