well i decided to to fix my motor....i figured out that the idiot that put it together had rods 1&4 backwards and it spun a bearing. Pieces of the bearings were stuffed in the oil pickup tube.....

Or this lol. That sucks though, deffinitly look into it more though, all may not be lost, because at this point, you've invested too much to give up on it at the most critical point.

Or what???........And i got my hypereutectic pistons,rods,and a new crank ordered.....Should all be here tomorrow. Once I get them pressed on im ready for the rebuild.......

I thought you used a F150 shortblock? And how did you get the M112 allready?

Well i had to put it on hold due to a new baby coming on the way (apr08) and i started my new job that is paying good, just not enough. I also found out that i am getting reactivated into the Marines, so i was gonna scrap everything and just buy a GT. It's not till recently that i found out that SSM released the adapter plate (no internet for awhile), SOOOOO i will be stickin to the six since it's paid off. Since i am getting reactivated to into the military, i was told by my command i should be makin quite a bit of money for that one year. So that will be a nice down payment on a house, some money into savings and some money into the stang (thanks to the wife). So as you can see i have had a lot going on, but the parts are slowly coming in (already have the plenum and the throttlebody) so it will just take a little time and money. I am still on track though!!
