I doubt it. That Saleen was pulling on that car so hard, it looked like he could have spotted him a car AND a gear!!
The second race it looked like the Supra may have even got the jump. A fine lot of good it did him!! Cool vid

The Saleen didn't jump, the Supra simply had too much turbo lag. That's the problem when you put a bigass turbo on a 3.0.

Just my opinion, but it sounded like the Saleen was using shot too... Especially in the last 'run'...

2000 why do you feel you have to defend all imports? no matter what anyone says about them you disagree even if there right!I mean I'm not trying to be wise but every thread there is with and import losing a race your already to make up excuse for the loss.....Are you paid by all these people or do you just feel like you were put on the earth for that purpose.You know your on a stang site were people like to see mustangs win races not hear well he jumped the gun,his ac was on,my muffler bearings bad...ect,ect,ect I didnt see in all these posts of stangs beating ricers were someone asked "Why did this ricer lose the race to the stang" so why all the excuses for people you dont know?Just wondering P.S how old are you?

if the supra mould have jumped the gun, it would have only been 5 cars lengths behind the saleen, as opposed to 12

Stock mark VI Supra's put out 320rwhp, but there are much more than 1 supra running 1000rwhp, some running 2000rwhp. Theres some street supras running 8's so dont bash all supras. I am not defending just setting people straight.

When done right the 2JZGTE can be a monster engine. 500whp with stock internals on a 3.0L engine is pretty damn good. But he did get ate up so come back and try again when you have it running right i guess

why exactly do you think the supra isn't running right or tuned right? it's a T66 supra...it's not one of the insanely high horsepower one's. he got beat straight up because the mustang was faster not bc of a bad tune.

That car is not an "E", but more likely an S351. The side markings are '99 or so. It just doesn't have the distinctive blower and engine sound of the E's. The blowers are extremely loud and can't be missed. Not there on this car. Good video though.
