Mustang eats rice for a Sunday dinner
Sunday bracket racing at Englishtown NJ. Street Wars Imports vs Domestic. I added 200lbs to the car in an attempt to run at the bottom of the 14.99-14.00 class. Went 14.03 witha 2.32x 60' on the 1 and only time shot. Dialed 14.0x all day. Went 3 rounds on the brakes. 3 import kills. Got ready for the 4th round only to be told its curfew time and the $$$ will be split between the 8 remaining cars. My calc shows the car would of gone 14.04, 14.05, and 14.0 in the rounds. Car hooked better in the 3rd round (2.200) which accounts for the 14 flat. I was running with a 91 Diablo tune and drag radials. Everything else is stock. Deep staged with a full tank of gas and keep the car hot. I'm pretty happy with the consistancy of the car.
