Default New here.. got an induction question.

Well hello all, this seems like a good place for a question like this:

I'm a convert to an '07 V6 Coupe from a long line of GM F-Bodies. As of now, im really enjoying the Mustang.

My question is this:

Which would be a better induction option, a shaker system, such as the one from Fang Performance, or a regular CAI? I may be missing the point of the shaker system entirely.. I may as well go ahead and tell you all about my plans for this car: I'm going for a decent N/A car with a little nitrous for the track. I always used to spray my LS1, so I guess thats what im used to. I may possibly go with a supercharger later on.

Thanks, all.

Default RE: New here.. got an induction question.

If your going to spray the car and thats all, go with the shaker system. If your going to use a supercharger, the shaker system will have to come off and sit on the self. Unless you use a centrefigul supercharger and do some modifying to fit the shaker system up to the charger. CDC did a show car with a supercharger and incorporatedtheir shaker system. The car put 500 plus to the ground and looked pretty cool
