Default WHOO!

Yeah!! Gears of War for PC Baby! I obtained a copy ;-)

This is good news consider my car thread *apologizes some more*
I got it last night all 7.41GBs of it :\ Wow it's big. I have a feeling it will be a flop though...like Jericho by Codemasters..But you never know..I heard Gears of War was the same Engine Halo was based on and it turned out "okay" for computer. Is there any gamers here at all? I know Hellion plays Oblivion but I haven't talked to that guy in a coon's age.

Wow that is a huge game. Oblivion with all the expansions is like 5GBs. Notto big a fan of modern war games though. I love Oblivion and such games(Age of Empires, Hit Man, Street racing games).
I just put a new video card in!!!!!
I bought a NVIDIA 512MB X8600GT....whoooooo, BIG difference from my ATI X600SE. I can now play Oblivion with full setting on and almost no lag. Of course my 2.5GB of ram help.

I have DDR2 dual channel so I can't just buy "another 512 stick"[&:]. My next upgrade is going to be another 2gb kit which would bring my memory up to it's max of 4gigs.

Hey Sleeper what are the specs on your system? I still have my old card......It requires a PCI-express slot.....well you might be better off buying a new one because I just looked on tigerdirect and they don't even list the X600 anymore, the lowest they go it the ATI X1300[&:]
