My friend calls me up after class telling me that the kid you used to drived the most ricey vehicle ever just got a new edge gt. I go to check it out and it is a black copue very nice looking, cobra rims, good tint, and one of the best exhausts I have ever heard on a stang. It really is a big step up from his old integra with a primer body kit and an STi wing, huge fart can, clear tailights, subs that cost more than half the crap on the car. So I was checking out his car and he says, "Oh, now i'll wipe the floor with your Si, you don't stand a chance." I was in agreement, but would never admit it, especially to this kid. We go to the nice spot where there is a light and no traffic and I tell him we'll go when the light turns green. The light turns green and he stalls, so I give him a chance to start it up again and he does. This time he revved up to about 5k and dumped the clutch, the car went sideways and he stalled again. At this point I figure hell I'm going home so I drive off regularly. I get about a mile when I hear his car screaming up behind me, after what sounded like a two and a half minute shift he flys by me ricer style and throws his hazzards on. It turns out that his integra was auto and he mastered the art of driving it like it was stick so well that we believed it was. I guess it shows that no matter what you drive that rice mentality sucks.

lol, it never ceases to amaze me how few people can actually drive a 5spd. Growing up on a farm, the tractors and trucks were always manuals, so getting in a car and going was never a big deal.

The best part was when he shifted, I heard the car screaming up on me and then nothing for literally a good minute then I heard the car again. I laughed the whole time, I just hope he doesn't start messing this car up like he did the last one. Right now the car is a great example of a nice clean looking new edge. I'd hate to see it with an STi wing.

Sad thing is, I have seen many pre 99's that have been given the Ricer treatment... I think the ricers are getting into new edge teritory... 5 years from now they'll be driving S197's... Dumb kids...
He is one of those kids who thinks he knows what hes talking about all the time. The first few times we corrected him politely, now we just tell him to STFU. You can't hang out with the kid by yourself, and if you hang out with him in a group, you can only take about 10-15 minutes before wanting to kick his ass, but he is almost retarded so it would be wrong.

it got to the point where i would just ignore the person... and eventually didnt hang out with em anymore... because all that would come outta his mouth was stuff pulled outta the ass.
But the thing is he hangs out(more like tags along) with the kids I hang out with. He tried telling me that his integra dynoed at 207whp. We poped his hood and he had a stock motor down to the air filter, not even the vtec engine, the regular anemic 4cly engine that makes like 140 crank. I really dont want him to start messing with the stang because it looks soooo good right now. Plus I brought my school friends to my town to party with us one night, everybody loved all of them except him. Half way throught the night about 80 % of the party wanted to fight him and the other 20% is too pussy to fight but said they hated him. This included all the chicks at the party.

Not really, just the **** he says gets on my nerves. I do drive an 07 Si, and was actually impressed by it but I know its limits. This kid seems to think that the car was god like, until he got his mustang. The first car he has ever driven with some actual torque and now suddenly that car is the fastest on the east coast. He just rubs people the wrong way. He met my girlfriend one day and when she went to my car to get her books he was checking her out telling me that he thinks shes a total slut. I grabbed him by the throat and tried my hardest not to punch him right in the teeth. He appologized and said he didn't know she was my GF even thought thats how I introduced her. He just pisses off everyone he meets. He is lucky I am trying the new approach of being a grown up otherwise he would have a fat lip, a balck eye, and be missing a tooth by now.

No offense to new edge owners but stock with only an exhaust they don't have that much power, they should be managable, but I really wouldn't even feel bad if something happened to him. I though his little integra was too much for him, this car will get him hurt.
