Ok have done some reading and research now wanted to get what other people have paid in their locations

2007 Shelby GT my ford dealer in Galesburg wants 43,000 one in Kewanee wants 41,000

2008 GT500 Vert no stripes with HID lights in Peoria 50,410

Unfortunately i can only go as much as 47,000 so the GT500 is out.

Have a 01 Camaro i bought after i got home that i want to use as trade but still have about 7300 on the loan. (just picked it up in May)

I would not get the Shelby GT at that price, you can do alot better than that.

I use USAA so i configured a GT Premium and added the options that were added target price was 28,381 then the 1300 gas tax and roughly 10,220 for the Shelby package should be around 39,900 since its an 07 and some 08s are coming out i think its possible to get them down around 37 or 38 i would think. I have always bought my cars out right becuase of job situations army etc etc and the Camaro i have now is the first one i have ever gotten a loan for, have no experience in trading in vehicles that still have a loan on them although the 'maro trade in is only 1 or 2 less than what is left on the loan. What do you guys think of paying a little bit more in exchange for them paying off the 'maro? Im financing through my own bank does that change the haggling game any far as bringing the price down?

Also i know there is another forum for Roush's but wanted an opinion. There is a 427R with 400 miles on it at a dealer near me they want 42K for it. Its used the guy drove it from Indiana to trade in for a GT500. Color is Vapor.

Dealer says a new 08 427 goes for 48K. sounds about right since its a Premium GT and the Roush 427 (am i correcct?) option according to roush.com says 15995.

yeah the dealer i think isnt american ive been talking on email its definetly a mid eastern name so understandable as its not a ford dealer. The roush though is at an authorized roush dealer so they have two new 08s and the used 07. Guy had it in indiana and drove it over here because he wanted the new GT500 in vapor. btw i misread the email the 07 is in Alloy. All the warranties and stuff are intact just has 400 miles from the guy driving it here to buy a 500.

Now just got to see how bad they are going to rape me on the Maro ha ha ha.
