Default Reset Air Bag computer

I got into an accident and my airbags deployed. I replaced the airbags but the airbag light still goes off on the instrument panel. Can I just reset the computer module? Or does the computer module have to be replaced? I read to reset, all I need to do is connect a jumper wire from the BK circuit to the T/R circuit in the trouble code clear connector. Is this information correct and will it deploy the airbags if I do that?

Default RE: Reset Air Bag computer

What about the sensor that initially tripped the airbags to deploy in the first place? Does it need to be reset/replaced?

Those sensors are fine.

I just need toknow about the computer. Will it deploy the airbags if I jump it and if it will stop the light form flashing?
