no cobras in 2000 besides the cobra R. thats because of the recall of the 99's, ford had to fix a lot of stuff, so they couldnt release any in 2000. No 2002 cobras because svt were too busy drawing designs for the 10th aniversary cobra (2003)

Haha, yeah, to be honest I hadn't seen one until I looked up pics for this thread. That bumper is ugly, but hey, if you wanted a unique, that's what you want to copy right there haha. It also has an amber side marker above the Cobra emblem on the sides. It looks like a bad photoshop, it's so sad. Poor 02 snakes.
Edit:IT'S COMING TO GET YOU!!! hahaha

They've NEVER put a Cobra on the grill from the factory, it's just the first thing that 99% of the owners do. Actually, I'm thinking they might have put the Snake in the grill for one year in the 80s or something, but I don't remember for sure. Certainly no recent Cobras.
As for as the foglight setup, I think they still tried to put 4 foglights on the Termi until the last second, which is why we have oval holes with 2 foglights and 2 holes. I've never figured that one out. The only possible thing I could think would be to help airflow around the intercooler, but I don't even think that's why they are there. Anyone know?
Right now my car still has no emblem since it got stolen at the car show right before I bought it. I really need to get one ordered.

the holes next to the foglights are actually used as cooling ducts for the front brakes
That wouldn't make sense though. You probably get as much airflow from under the car and through the rims as you would through those little holes. If they had ducting, I'd agree, and you could do it as an easy mod, but from the factory it's just two holes. They'd be basically worthless for cooling the brakes as is.

i know technically in RI you are only allowed 4 driving lights on a vehicle. its never enforced, but the law is still there. Ford isn't going to put 4 fogs on if its not legal in all states.

Hey AJO3SVT I own a 2001 Cobra here in Australia(as a matter of fact Ford only converted Cobra's for sale here)and i can tell you that the 4 fog lights as you call them are in fact . top lights parking light/driving light. bottom lights, fog lights . The driving lights come on when you go to high beam on the main lights.brake cooling ducts are next ot lower lights As to the pony emblem that is the way Ford delivered them and the amber side light is due to australian design rules that all cars have to comply with.Another fact is they were only delivered with a 5 speed box and not slush boxes that they sell to you lot So i suppose we have an model you lot missed out on?
well all in all id say that if they only made 100 for export, that would mean that they would go up in price alot faster than all the rest of them. thats got to be worth a lil extra on the world market if you could get your hands on one. even though im not real excited about the extra lights either but if i had one i would show it off as is.
