Default mach handling

OK, i posted a while back abuot getting a mach, it didnt happen due to the dealership trying to sell it to me for more than we initially agreed on. It has come up again that i might be getting an 04 mach or and 04 cobra, either way i dont really care, but i want to know how do the mach's handle? and can they be made to handle like a road racer? and for how much.

My Mach handles reletively well for what it is.
Of course... with the right suspension mods you canturn it into aroad racing king!(shouldn't take ALL that much but will cost you a decent penny)

They handle pretty well stock. Much better than a stock for stock than a GT. They can easily be made into a roadrace car with the right mods. Check out maximum motorsports for handling stuff.

Cobra's have IRS, so I don't see a mach takin the twisties better once all things are equal (power and tires). They both come with crappy tires and crappy wheels (not wide enough) from the factory, so in their stock forms I have no clue.

Not stock...
As it has been said:
IRS = Road racing
Solid-axle = Strip

But you can make the IRS extremely well fit for the strip and the solid rear extremely well fit for road racing

A completely build solid axle and completely built IRS will handle the same. Stock though, an IRS will handle better.

Panhard bar, upper and lower control arms, subframe connectors. It all depends on what you really want. If you just want a decent handling street car, I would just get a few things but if you want a track car then you are going to be getting into stuff like coilovers and all of that.
