Hey guy's im thinking about selling my 98 cobra, it has 67K miles on it, a kenny brown level 5 suspension, and a bassani cat back. It is the limited blue color, and the body is in perfect condition, with a saleen wing on it. What do you think i could get out of it??

NO WAY! There's one in the paper where I live. It's a 97 Cobra with 29kmi. Has a Borla catback, 2 sets of wheels, it's white w/blackleather and really mostly stock. They want $11,500obo. But it has 29kmi and is MINT. I would say you can still get $11k for it, but that's top dollar

I'd say you can get 11k if you can sell someone on the suspension. $10-11k I'd say. What you need to make sure you do is price it around NADA value, otherwise people can't get a loan for what you ask. That said, I'd try putting it up for $11,500 to start and see what kind of offers you get.

If by "the limited blue color" you mean Bright Atlantic Blue, I'd love one, but I don't have the money for one now. I'll trade you my GT.
$11,500 is a solid asking price. Don't take less than 11K though. That's about what they're going for. I've got a 98 Cobra, same color, 50K on it, and would ask the same.
find some stupit kid sell it for more then 12 k i say ask for 14 then bring it down to 12. im not being an asshole. just trying to get u the most money. later

Don't advertise at 14K and waiste all that time. You're just going to end up re-advertising and dropping the price over and over. If you put it at 14K like that guy said, people aren't even going to bother talking to you about the car. If you price it at 11.5, people will still call just to ask questions... from there it's up to you to get them to come see it, and you can negotiate from there. TRUST ME.... I flip cars. I do it all the time.

ya i would never even think about listing it for 14, that is a rediculouse price to start at. But should i start a little higher then 11.5? or would that be the safest spot to start? and to BANNED, the cobras i see going for that price are pieces of crap, im not saying that mine is perfect and all, but it should sure the hell bank more then 5-8k otherwise i am just going to keep it cause i bought it for a little more theNADA

Really, it all depends on where you are. I'm in SoCal and would advertise at 12K. I probably wouldn't take less than 11.5 either. Car markets are so different from location to location. I have no clue what the demand for a low mile '98 Cobra is in IL, but I would imagine that regardless where you are, it's a desirable car. Hell... I know it is. I have one.
I think you'd be safe advertising at 12,000 and accept a 500 buck negotiation. If you sit with it for too long, you have two options. Lower your asking price, or wait until Summer when everyone wants one again. Either way, don't sell yourself short on such a nice car right off the bat.
