I dont think any kind of suspension mod you could buy would have any increase in RPM. Im not a drag racer so im not familiar with all the tricks of the trade but when talking about a cars geometry anything you do to beef up the suspension helps the car transfer the weight and power better. As to which single item would improve the start off the line the best I have no idea, but am too curious to what others think is the best. Now if you have a automatic thats another story, I would assume then you could get a better help off the line with a good torque converter than any suspension mods.

The LCA's will control wheel hop at launch, but I don't think that they have any effect on your RPM for launch itself. I didn't find that they affected me that way anyhow. What I did find, even with drag radial which allow me to rev higher without breaking loose, is by trying different launches my car does best between 1200 and 1500. Any higher and I seem to lose top end for some reason and my ET and MPH both suffer. Any lower and the car bogs. The LCA's though definitely helped control the spin.

Four bolts out and four bolts in - pretty easy really. It helps if you can get it up on a hoist, but makes it a little difficult to "pre load" the suspension. You have to take the rear tires off, and do one side at a time. Take off one emergency brake cable (the cable goes through the stock LCA), remove the front and rear bolts and the LCA comes out. New one should slide right in - support the axle a little to get the bolts in but don't torque them yet. Do the other side. Then get the suspension to about stock height and torque the bolts to 129 as I recall.

Go with LCA relocation brackets as well as new LCAs with higher durometer bushings than stock. What rims/tires are you running? Stock 16" with BFGoodrich tires or the 17" bulletts with the Pirellis?
