SVO dies when boost kicks in - 11/3/2007 7:13:45 AM    luggy   Posts: 2 Joined: 8/19/2007 Status: offline I'm looking at an 84 SVO, but the car dies when the boost kicks in. I'm not really familiar with turbos, and the owner says the turbo was rebuilt about 40K ago, Car has about 110K. Any ideas on what to look at? The body and interior are in great shape, except that the from seats have been changed out to another mustang style. What do you think is a good price? Thanks. Post #: 1

Weak fuel pump {install gauge to test]. Hose on input of turbo sucking together. Make sure wires in it and stiff. (in reply to luggy) Post #: 4
