Ok, so I get in my car to go to work this morning, hit my right turn signal to make a turn and notice that it's blinking quicker than normal.  Like, ricer quick.  Now, the left signal blinks at a normal rate of speed and I didn't make any adjustments - the turn signal just started blinking fast.  Any suggestions as to how this happened?  How would I fix it?  Thanks in advance for any help/input...

Check and see if it has burnt out... My pontiac used to do that  when one of the signal bulbs was burnt out.

Check the bulbs. Back in the old days, that told us we had a bulb burned out.

Go to autozone buy a new bulb and change it your self. It takes like 2 minutes.

I like that. Been to the dealer once to have the new upper mounts installed. Buttheads
put a 1 inch scratch right in the middle of my hood. Made 'em fix it. Cost 'em $385.00.

You should be able to replace the bulb, don't take to dealer...

The owners manual might show you how.

Now the new VW beetles require you to
remove the rear fender to replace the bulbs.
Think of that one next time you are behind
one of those new VW beetles.

And dont try and get any major replacement parts....
They are 2 years out in back-orders....
Thats why so many of them are for sale used....

While it may be as simple as a burned out bulb if all the bulbs check out then the Smart Box is wiggin out and that will require a trip to the dealer to be properly diagnosed and then replaced. This is something that Ford actually has to approve for the dealer also.

Ford will ask the dealer if any of the wiring or harness have been messed with aftermarket parts which is why is suggest the Plug and Play type Sequential to people because if ford see you have cut into and spliced wiring for them they can void that portion of the warranty.

Richard
