Just a note: Everyone is welcome to join us for fun. A perfect chance to learn more about the SCOA :)

The "National Event" for the Saleen Club of America this month is "Winterfest ~ 2005". This event is again being hosted by the Rocky Mountain Region, and promises to be a great weekend on winter fun. The dates for this years event are March 18-20, 2005. You can leave your car at home and join everyone in the Denver area as we head off for some wintertime fun which includes world class skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile fun, and even relaxing at the lodge. There is more information on this great event later in this issue of SaleenZine.

On March 5th, there is the Crystal Cove Promenade Cruise. The event is located in southern California just off of the Pacific Coast Highway between Reef Point and Crystal Heights Drive in Newport Coast. (Look for the Strip Mall where Trader Joe's and Starbucks is located). Parking is limited to the first 250 cars, begins at 7:00am and can fill up quite quickly so we suggest meeting up at 6:45am. Following a fun filled morning, the show comes to an end at about 9:00am, and the group will be heading off for brunch.

On March 26th, the Southeast kicks off their show season with the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, GA. This great show is a perfect way to show off your car after a winter of storage. A group social is currently in the works by the SCOA Southeast Region, and details will be available soon. For more information, please contact the Club via email.

March 26th is also the date for the John Force Annual Easter Car Show benefiting "Mattel Children's Hospital". This event is located in southern California at the John Force Race Station, 22722 Old Canal Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, and is from 9:00am to 3:00pm rain or shine. Parking for this event starts at 8:00am. We will be meeting in the staging area just outside the show and will cruise in together to ensure that we all park together. This show requires pre-registration, so if you are interested in joining in for a good cause please email the Club for all the details. To visit the John Force Race Station website for directions please go to http://www.johnforceracestation.com

March is the start of the race season, so get your cheering voices ready! The start of the season comes to you from Sebring, Florida. The race weekend is the 18th & 19th, with pre race events starting on the 16th. Go Saleen!
