I was looking for a set of rotors cross drilled for the GT 500 that matched and no one makes them. Just a FYI this guy kicks butt! They are building mine in two weeks and taking orders now at a great price.

Hope he doesn't mind me posting the email.

Hi John,

As promised, here is a quick e-mail letting you know that we are about ready to start production on the GT500 rotors – fronts and rears. The set of 4 will go for $603 + shipping. As soon as I have 5 firm orders for the parts we will build them. Right now, I am waiting for my Brake department to provide me with the P/N's for the fronts and the set. As soon as I have those I can take orders. That will be sometime today (hopefully soon this morning).

Also, if you e-mail or call me and I don’t respond right away its because I am headed to SEMA today at around noon. Will be back in the office bright and early Friday morning.

Please don’t hesitate to call or e-mail anytime. Anything I can do to help – that’s what I am here for.

Thanks Much

Drilling/slotting your rotors wont make your car break any better.  FYI

We run road courses and have had the brake fluid boil on my GT. I had stock rotors drilled and did notice better braking through the race. Also if you go to the GT-40 wheel and show your car all you see is rotors. Drilled looks really good for the shows. Not for everyone but not pricey either.

I do run road courses and drilling a rotor is more cosmetically than anything else.  Because I doubt they really really drilled the rotor to reduce rotational weight.  They prob drilled it cosmetically as not enough holes to really make a difference in mass.  Remember if you drill the rotor you are actually shaving mass off so the rotors will infact heat quicker.  IF you want to keep your rotors cooler the only real way to do it is getting some brake ducts from agent.

Here is a good read:

My car has brake ducts with inline fans two per wheel and 13" upgraded brakes on the rear.  The post was just to let people know there are drilled affordable brake rotors out there.

There's always someone who knows much much more than the guy actually out there racing. I'm not an idiot I race a GT supercar and the 500.

Hope this helps someone.

So let me get this str8 you have two ducts with fans inside the ducs and two per duct? LOL.  It is so hilarious that you pull the race car card because I am sponsored here in the scca chapter of puerto rico and I run gt-1 and gt-2 class.  Yet again you know more right because you weekend race and PAY to race your car.  While I get PAID to race cars...  The facts are there you do whatever you want.  It is just funny that someone that says they have a racing background such as yourself is saying that drilled/slotted rotors are better for racing which is just hilarious.  Slotted is a carry over from the asbestos pad days and drilled is not really worth it unless you seriously drill a rotor (70+ holes per rotor) which in turn would make the rotor britle and it will heat up much quicker because of the reduced thermal mass.  Drilling like that is just done for short tracks which require no real hard stops.  Yet again I supposed you knew all of this right?  And for 600$ ill just buy a set of the bear rotors for $800 which are a much better quality IMHO.

Buy a two piece Drilled floating rotor direct from Brembo. They will dispurse heat better and help with brake fade VS the one piece rotors.
