I thought that too.  Maybe its that alot of people are cleaning out their garages this time of year so there are alot of people who became new mustang owners.

Im new to the Mustang world I'd like to post pics but cant figure out how. Got my 70 coupe for free a couple weeks ago and Im excited because I can restore it relatively cheap and its soooo easy to get reproduction parts and they are cheap compared to restoring a GM muscle car of around the same year. I will be putting my 69 Olds 442 convertible on the back burner for a long time cause it will be so much easier to finish the Mustang! Maybe more GM guys are buying up Mustangs hence all the new members?

Since I signed up way back when, it seems new members keep filling in and the old members slowly drift away. Everyone I knew from when I first signed up disappeared haha...

Welcome to all the noobs!

I moved to the states recently and wanted a car. Always had my heart set on a Mustang and found a 70 Mach 1. I've been in and out of engine bays for 20 years and decided to buy a restoration project. I'm in the process of replacing floor, quarters, fenders and giving the engine a well needed rebuild. After that I need to see what will still work on a car thats been sitting in a field for 10 years!

Hey Guys,
I am new to the forums, but not to Mustangs. My first Mustang was a 1966 c code coupe that I got when I turned 16. Since then I have had 5 more, including an 85 GT, 85 Saleen, and a 93 LX 5.0. I joined the forums because I just bought a 66 6 cyl that I am going to be converting to an 8 cyl with modern tocuhes to make it a daily driver.

Some of my plans for the car include a T5 conversion, 4 wheel disk brakes, TCP manual rack, 8.8 rear end with 3.55 gears, and late model Bullitt wheels. Tungsten gray with Black interior.

I am thinking about the TMI sport seats, any thoughts?

Welcome to all the noobs!

I know what you mean. I hardly see Emperor (occasionally in OT) or 65Mojoe on here anymore and I never see Soaring anymore since that thing happened.

But it's great that we have all these new members. Welcome to the forums and enjoy!

MustangForums.com is growing at a tremendous clip!  The board just crossed over 75,000 registered members, and at this pace will hit 100,000 in just a few months.

The Mustang hobby is booming and it's great to ride the wave!

thank you all for coming... Sorry, I do not validate parking.

New to forums - Long on Mustangs.

My Uncle had a 1969 GT500 FB when they were new - NICE car!

My brother had two 69 FBs a 67 coupe and a 66 coupe that is still in the pasture.

We rebuilt a 67 coupe for my mom back in the 80s.

I have had my 69 conv. for 2 yrs now. Have been getting the parts for a Shelby look conversion. +1 on the kids at the auto parts stores!  I have just begun tearing mine down and will start on the frame soon.

See more pics in - Newbie all but owns the name "Rustang" take a look - thread.

Sorry about the low quality pics - the files were too big so I had to print and then scan them, but you get the idea. a lot of work ahead.

i dont think emperor has his classic mustang anymore.  i think he ended up with a new shelby or something.

but yeah, seems like all the members who were here when i joined have left...well except like jamesw, dodgestang, superdavid and the like.

but at any rate, welcome to all the new members, this site has helped me many times and is a great source

I thought I just saw emperor on here a few weeks ago, or I'm seeing things.  What happened to mojo?  And I missed that whole thing with Soaring because I was in the desert and too depressed to get on because I sold my 66.  But I bought my 67 after moving so I'm happy again.

soaring got into a couple arguments with the admin apparently and was stripped of his mod privlages.  he's still a member and still allowed to post but after that whole incident he just kind of left.

emperor is still around, just not in this section really
