remicks - VF hasn't been nearly as active the last two or three weeks, so I hope everything's OK. That was quite the medical ordeal he went through back in September.
Me? It is what it is. No big secret, and my feelings certainly aren't going to get hurt over it. What mat11089 said in post #44 is right on the money - most of the time I feel like I'm still in my late 30's, and on an autocross course I'm a 20-something again if only for a few seconds at a time.
You're only as old as you let yourself be, you just have tons of experience and that experience has helped me out on more than a few occasions. That is awesome that you autocross, I really would like to get my mustang in order to do that, still have a long way to go to do that.
What happened to VF? I had no idea something happened to him.
I got an idea from your post baddog. We should find out who are the oldest and youngest members of the forums if no one minds disclosing their age. I already said I'm 22 so I'm out of both runnings.

I turn 20 later this month and have been on Classics since May `05. I was actually here before then too, but as another username and wasnt very active...
This site has made owning a classic more enjoyable with the knowledge available on this site. I think its only right that we all contribute to this site for all its contributed to us.
...i have a previous name from years ago and all my donations have been credited to that name for some reason. I believe it states, "Multiple Contributor".....long live MF !
I have been here for a couple of months. I am 20 and have had my 66 for 7 years. If you think that getting out of a classic mustang gets the girls, YOU SHOULD RIDE A HARLEY DAVIDSON DURING HIGH SCHOOL!!! Some of my friends and myself have had bikes since we were 16 and 17. Go to the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally and see if you dont get noticed!!! Very Nice.
Lots of great info here. I definitely appreciate it. Thank you to everyone that helps!!! Without yall, this site would be apart of some Honder Forum.

Hmmm... does this mean I'm an old guy? Had my first mustang (65 coupe) in High School some hmmm...31 years ago. Every week I drove it to school it looked different as I was fixing rust and priming panels. Back then, a 10 year old stang was dirt cheap.
Took a break from cars as a hobby for 20 years or so, then got back into vintage Mustangs in the mid-90s. I've had this particular one for 9 years.

Since I signed up way back when, it seems new members keep filling in and the old members slowly drift away. Everyone I knew from when I first signed up disappeared haha...
Welcome to all the noobs!
I know what you mean. I hardly see Emperor (occasionally in OT) or 65Mojoe on here anymore and I never see Soaring anymore since that thing happened.
But it's great that we have all these new members. Welcome to the forums and enjoy!
i dont think emperor has his classic mustang anymore. i think he ended up with a new shelby or something.
but yeah, seems like all the members who were here when i joined have left...well except like jamesw, dodgestang, superdavid and the like.
but at any rate, welcome to all the new members, this site has helped me many times and is a great source
Yeah, I remember Emperor saying something about a new Shelby GT a couple months back. None of my friends are into rice, most of them like jacked up trucks and LOTS OF POWER.
I was just thinking that same thing Pammie.I was reading through some new threads and only a handful i recognize.Kinda miss those guys Weird but you kind of get a friendship going in a way.
I see a few on MySpace and a few on the other Mustang forum I visit but there are some I just miss.
Scott with the dog who barks at cows. Clu7ch who was living in his car. Thumpin with his 40 cars (I never got to show him my 1967 Firebird). Nick with his amazing 'Stang he traded for a Nova.
I am quite new to this forum, just bumped on it when looking for technical info for Mustangs. Actually still looking for the info I need, but this is a very big forum with a lot of topics. Who am I? 23 years old, living in Belgium, Bruges (historical city, nice to visit ). From degree a bachelor in Carmechanics, working on tractors from when I was a small boy , working on cars since my sister got herself a VW Beetle from 1971, restaurated completely myself . After this restauration a friend of me bought also a Beetle and helped him with putting it back together.
Proud Mustang 1968 owner since a couple of months now. Mustang is coming from California, bit damaged by being in the container, but I am allready the 2nd owner of it in Belgium. For the moment , due to my work, not able to get working on the Mustang, hopefully she will be ready next summer to take me for a drive.
So that's basically it, why a Mustang, no idea , but when I saw this car when I was 15 years old , the noise , the looks, everything about her amazed me and made me realise that this is a car I was going to get when I was older, no matter what.
Hey Guys, I was here last winter off and on some. I have been workin on my mustangs riding my Ninja getting married and running my bidness! Been a bit busy. Cooler weather in Atlanta means more wrenching for me. I have a few stangs Im a car guy in general seem to like the old fords now but have had lots of Chevys and firebirds go by thru the years. I prefer the fords.
