Well, after being a loving owner of my 2006 V6 Mustang, I traded it in towards a truck. I needed a truck for work and my dirtbike...
I traded it for an FX4 Level 2 Ranger, coincidentally with the same 4.0 V6.  I've heard these are beasts in the dirt.
I'm going to miss my Stang terribly, but in a year, my dad and I are going to build a Factory Five Cobra with a 450 hp Boss 302 crate motor..I think I'll manage.

Here's pictures of the truck, I'll post pictures of it tearin' it up in the dirt if you guys want.

you could've had both!!........i do. my '98 ranger is a work horse (even though its only a 4banger.....uhh, modded of course ) and it would be hard to let that thing go..........but i understand your reasons. we used my truck to hual around our quad and i'm sure it will serve you well also. too bad you had to give up one toy for the other....good luck with the ranger.

The 4.0 feels alright. I like it.

Let's see, on the way home tonight, TWO ricers tried to race me ( I dont know why!)
I burned them both.

This truck has the 4.0 with a Torsen LSD, 4.10 gears and a five speed auto. It doesnt do too bad.

Oh yeah i believe the truck weighs around 3500 lbs? I may be wrong on that one. I have yet to delve into all that is Ranger.

Congratulations on the truck, a 4.0 ranger is a nice truck for what you want to do. It's a shame the Mustang had to go, but enjoy the ranger until another Mustang comes your way!

really?....i'll check it out. i'm a member of rangerpowersports.com but there is a moderator on there in the 2.5L lima section thats an a$$hole. he jumped on a kid who just joined for asking a newbie question and pretty much vented about it in a forum that was pretty dead compared to this forum. of course i answered the noob's question and told a$$hole to lay off the noob and that he had an excuse for his question. i turned out being the one getting bashed. i rarely visit there anymore.
