You are making some nice progress! I was wondering how your inner rockers look? Mine are toast I have to R&R pretty much the same as you on my vert.
the seat platform and outer and inner rockers were solid as **** man, didnt want to mess with them if i didnt have to, you start getting into structural stuff there,...the floors were actually not that bad, there was alot of good metal under all that mess,..but didnt want to take any chances and have to do it again in 5 years,...so these should be good to go,...
Amazing...Simply AMAZING!!! Nice work...keep posting pics. You got me real ansy. About 2 more months, and I can began. I might go tinker with some stuff after seeing yours.

i thought the same way, i have three other cars i was currently working on , i was like, im gona get the mustang, cover it, let if sit for a couple years, and make this a LONg drawn out project, but as soon as i started "tinkering" with things, that idea went out the window
so it was time to continue tearing down the front end getting ready to pull the engine, and i must say i was very very very nervous today, you never know what learks behind these fenders and splash guards,...
passenger side, no rust,...
drivers side, little rust, nothing major, still very very solid with about a dime size home,...patch and some por15 will fix that
drivers side behind splash guard,...NOTHING!
passenger side behine splash guard,...goooooood!
after 30 minutes of fighting with 40 year old undercoating that is hard as a rock...passenger side splash guard off and awaiting new ones,...
garbage,...two fenders, dash, bunch of little stuff, and front valance, if you look you can see where the car was backed into and why he stopped driving it, hahaha, didnt look bad enough to stop driving it to me,...fenders were actually in good shape with no major rust, but just decided to replace with new ford tooling, shelby front valance with bumper, and shelby hood
everything uphooked fluids drained my help home made pizza break beer, must have beer for these events lift in place my friend cutting old exhaust off,..couldnt budge the bolts,...
Yes...this is an amazing thread!!! Again, NICE WORK!!! What did you use to strip the paint?. You make everything look so easy. I have my motor and tranny out. I think tomorrow after work, I am gonna strip the interior. It oughta be eventful. If I can get out of lazy mode, I will post pics too. Keep up the work, and keep us posted. This thread is more exciting than Prison Break!!!

Also i not sure what you got planned for your coils but http://www.rrs-online.com/ is what ive been eyeing up for some time now good 8k will put you with coils front (3link rear) and rack and pinion.

hahaha, i work on it after work and on the weekends, i dont have that much free time, but whatever time i have is spent on this project,...it would be hard for me to make a website cause i have absolutly no idea what i am doing myself,..haha, this is the first car i have restored so this is a learning experience for me also...
engine bay done being stripped,..bottom halp was sanded and coated in POR15, along with the trans tunnel, and underneath,...
spindles and crossmemeber blasted and coated,...these cam out great pics dont do them justice
side panel was stripped, sanded, and coated with por15, inner fender well in the process of bring stripped, what a pain, this stuff would not come off... where you see the rust, there was about 9 pounds of dirt, it all gets trapped on that ledge under the spring and control arm, but the area was still very solid
sanded, treated with por15, undercoated
