well not much but a little update,...i have been traveling my ass off for work and have not had time to do much, that and the rear is still at the shop, i am picking it up tomorrow finally:furious::banana: but,..got the power steering pump back from re-builder before,... after... i didnt like the finish on the leaf springs so i completly stripped them and painted them so now they are pretty,..but im sure it wont last long,.. brake lines, and fuel lines installed, more of the bottom was stripped to the metal, painted and undercoated,...you can see whats done and whats not,...it is in need of two full wheel houses, two full quaters,...which i will start on in about a month or so,...driveshaft is also in along with new rear leafs, rear shackles with poly bushings

hes saying it looks like they just left the rust on it when they painted it. but its POR15 right? so it has the textured look..

ooo, the rear was rusted bad,..so i did what i could to sand it down, clean it, and it is por15, so it likes a bit of rust, haha, but yes the finish is a bit rough, but looks 12234 times better then it did,...

Damn! All this makes me want to quit my job and dedicate all my time to my 67. New business prevents that. Gotta feed the family.

well just a update, shamus came over today and helped me drop the trans,...took maybe 30 minutes, just being extra careful not to mess up paint, until we spilled about 3 qts of fluid ALLLL over, anyway,.. removed flywheel and spacer plate, spun oil pump, and sure enough one of the gallery pulgs was GUSHING, it wasnt loose but it wasnt tight either,... so replaced the plug with a new plug, teflon tape, and some rtv gasket, and hopeuflly it holds,...the threads looked to be a bit messed up and i am wondering if that is what caused it,... at this point i am just praying to the car gods if there is any, cause i cant go through this again and thanks to shamus once again for a awesome set of helpin hands

thats great to hear it was something simple. sounds like the builder threw the plugs in and simply forgot to tighten em up. thats the kinda stuff that happens from time to time, its all part of the game
