I am interested in replacing my stock rims on my '05 V6 with bullitt style rims on my stock tires. (215/65/R16) What size bullitts can I realistically use without replacing the tires.

Thanks in advance.

It's 17" on the GT,  16" on the V6,  right?

Do you like the ones in my avatar?
17x8 with 235/55R17 Pirellis and showroom clean.  (they're for sale.)

I went with 255/45R18s on 18x9s.  Should arrive any day.

Can you supply any details on your pending sale of tires and rims? Such as:

Are the wheels GT takeoffs? If not, what brand?
price? location?, etc.

Thx

Best deal I found was from this place. This is where I got mine from a few weeks ago. They were brand new!

you know i've been trying to do the same with mine. but does anyone know if 18x9 and 18x10 are compatible on our cars? there are some i've been watching on ebay that i really like but i can't tell if they would fit my car.

18x9/10 Bullits (deep dish).

I personally think these would like really nice on our cars...

Yes, 18x9 and 18x10 can be fit on our cars.  You have to be sure and get the correct offset.
It's approx 38mm.  (a couple mm either way will work.)

The 24mm offset won't fit!

In 18s, 255/45R18 is the same diameter as stock 235/55R17s (27") and about an inch wider. (10.8" compared to 9.6" roughly)

If you go with 18/9 18/10 stagger, best fit is 255/45R18 front and rears are usually 275/40R18.   It is possible to fit 315s on the rear!

Search around the forum and elsewhere, I've looked at hundred of pics where they state their tire and rim size.
