Need help please - 10/28/2007 8:42:07 PM    den2oo278   Posts: 35 Joined: 12/7/2006 Status: offline Alrite i have a 98 3.8 mustang that i have a problem with.  For about 9 months my rear end has been bottomeing out. since this started i have installed monroe shocks.. then garbial shocks.   ford c racings springs and still have the same problem.  I thing i need a really stiff shock or something any ideas on what i should do.  PLEASE help.. ill prob change all shocks and struts again to fix problem hopefully.. Its making me hate the love of my life lol. thanks Post #: 1

RE: Need help please - 10/29/2007 6:00:29 PM    STANGSUSPENSION   Posts: 492 Joined: 5/2/2004 Status: offline When its NOT bottoming out... what is the ride like?  Does it seem to bottom out with ease? Not excessive suspension movement? If so, you may just need a shorter pinion snubber (aka bumpstop). Here is a link... http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=609 If the ride seems bad AND its bottoming out... then you may just want to get better shocks in the rear, such as Tokico or Bilstein. Either way, a shorter bumpstop will help to keep it from bottoming out as easily, assuming your shocks are good...
