So I've heard mutterings lately of the debut of the revamped Skyline GT-R to be released in the US late 2008. At a projected 450 AWHP mid-engine V-6 TwinTurbo car really sounds like the GT500, Z06 and Porsche have their work cut out for them. I'm kind of anxious to see the GT500KR and this beast would would fair in an all out drag from a dig...at a course of course. :)
80,000 dollar piece of ****...............Nissan next to VW builds the worse cars on the road.............
Oh god another ford fanboy.
ROTM: They had talked about a V8 in the new Nissan in the very beginning but as of the protoype in Japan earlier this year it's a twin turbo V6. Flat torque curve like the BMW 335i and won't run out of steam at higher RPM.

I had a R33 Skyline once, and it's not hard to romp on an American car with one of these bad boys.
Some of the features my spy's have tould me may be on the edition are listed...
520bhp AWD with rear turning wheels Twin Turbo with Porshe "zero lag" styled turbines Quad 4 inch exhaust Also despite being a Jap car, Nissan is the ****. If I was to buy anything not american Nissan is my first choice, their trucks and average cars are a bit ehh, but their sports cars are very well built.
The block is also a thing of many tales, because I've heard of kits already being issued that stroke it to 4 liters if not stock. And I've heard of several other rumours, but I'd not believe them, Nissan is pulling a Pearl Harbour, this car is the 429 Boss Mustang of Nissan's arsenal, if you see one, I'd hope you where packing big cuz these cars are going to be run very hard straight off the lot, and having driven one, their not bad at all, but I'd prefer a Mustang that was there when I tould it to go. The feel was lacking when I first tried my current GT(meaning the Nissan R33 I had was lacking) which is going to be my new hobby very soon.

Looks Pretty Sweet to me. All wheel Drive with over 400HP would own everything.
Hardly. With it's complicated AWD it will be HEAVY, and 400 hp for $75k, what are they thinking. Plus the whatever markups the dealers add on. That's Vette and Viper territory, not Mustang. But the GT500 will smoke this thing for $20k less.
guy around the corner from me has a new skyline, its nice and all but I think nissan is lame for having three similar vehicles: Infiniti g35, nissan 350z, nissan skyline. Skyline looked hawt before, why fix something thats not broken.

Thaicobra, I must disagree again. Tho there are some lite awd cars, this will not be one of them. Nissan is already boasting how technologically advanced this car will be. To the world that is a sales pitch, but all I hear is "it going to have lots of gadgets that require lots of wiring and weigh alot." Things such as rear wheel steering devices, active yaw controlers, and traction control. Short story, I'm not worried about one pulling up next to me.
