the car was not supercharged from saleen the dealer put the kit on. the reason i want to upgrade is i have pulled the motor and replaced with a level 10 prep dss short block stage II patriot head with com extrme cams. the motor is set up to handle at least 20lbs of boost. i would like to stay with all saleen s/c for the stock look.that why i was wondering if the series IV will fit on my manafold. plus i just replaced my intercooler with a chicane intercooler and dont want to have to change

Series IV should bolt right up......you my want to consider porting the Series IV or finding a Series V so you can run more boost.

I haven't seen any Series V on ebay lately....but, if you found one, it will work.  Series VI's are for the 3 valves....they will not work.

Watch though.....a stock, roots supercharger from an 03 or 04 Cobra are built for their 4 valve heads and will not bolt up to the 2 valve heads.

i was thinking more of whipples and kenny bells. i dunno if an adapter plate would be needed or not to fit the Saleen intake.

You may check with whipple to see if you can buy the head unit from them. Since you have a built bottom end (good job on that) , I would step up to a KB. The series 4 is ok, but not good for any real power. Don't get me wrong, the blower itself (whipple) is good, but the intake manifold is the holdback. Good job on the Chicane intercooler, definitely beneficial over the stock unit!
