I think it's a nice idea and if a) I was in Florida and b) I had a GT500, I'd definately let you use mine in exchange for a drink, a photo and perhaps a crack at the [single] Girl friends of the bride.

lol at the gt-h, i think they are g@y , but thats just my opinion....
now dont get me wring fellas, i put a lot of thought into it....
first off, there is no drinking at my wedding cause the place im having it at is very exclusive and they dont allow alcohol on the premesis unless they provide it and they wanted like another $3k to add that in and i was like "f*ck that", so theres no alcohol,,,
secondly, i would have a binding contract typed up about returning the vehicle back to the owner in its original condition with no damage or modification that i would sign and have notorized making me responsible for anything happening to their car.....
and also the wedding ends around 1:30 pm so the owner would have their car back within the following hour so no time for "shinanigans" there, lol
i understand the position the owner would be in about not knowing if sh!t was going to happen to their beauty since i rarely even let me gf drive my car, not that she likes to since their is too much power for her lol, so i understand the difficulty there, but the contract would take care of that, allong with the compen$ation, heh......
they are cool....not as much light output as i had anticipated, but that short-coming is made up by their awesome, unique look during both day AND night....
Don Reid has a black vert on their lot, for 6 months now. A friend of mine there, might be able to help you... Call me and I'll put the 2 of you together for an eventual deal.
Ok not to be mean but what is it with people asking to rent expensive performance cars from a private owner. I doubt it will ever fly. Bottom line the whole thing is a setup to get a nice car temporarily for some cash. Then the renter is gonna beat the snot out of the car because he paid for its use. Hence the owners already know this and they are gonna say no way. There is a few places that rent exotic cars. Usually you are looking at about $1000 per hundred thousand of value. So a GT500 would cost you around $1000 to rent for the day. Enzo runs around $7000 a day. Not to mention you sign a contract that the vehicle will be returned in the condition it was rented out in. Any damages that occur from wreckless driving are on you. Can you say wages garnished the rest of your life for totalling a Ferrari Enzo. Normal accident the insurance picks up, if you were speeding or doing other wreckless driving the insurance is coming after you. Thing is showing up 1 time in a nice car just brings up questions. When people talk and they find out it is a rental the impressed feeling goes to disappointed.

Okay, not to be mean, but you OBVIOUSLY havent read the entire thread...u just read the initial post and immediately went to your own reply.....Dont Do that!
1) the original owner would BE there at the wedding 2) me renting the car is NOT to act like its mine, its just to have it there for the guests to see 3) the car would be driven for about 5 minutes just to drive around the lake the wedding location is on 4) the contract portion of it has already been taken care of
thanks for your input, BUT, for future reference, please read the entire post before you start replying....
