im stumped on this one, cant decide between black rims or chrome, id like some opinions on what people think would look best, with the Vapor color, the black tint, black mustang decal up the side, and one day down the road, after i swap the spolier and decide on a body kit(if i even decided to get one at all)dual 10" black racing stripes. also cant decide if i should get them now as the stock ones look like ass, or hold off until next spring since winter and possible snow is right around the corner

part of me see's chrome looking bad ass with the color, and the other part of me says black will help accent the tint and stripes, thus looking better overall, so what do you guys think

heres a somewhat crappy pic of the car the day after i brought it home,to get an idea of the color if you need it

+1. they dont have to be flat black wheels tho, you could definately get black wheels with a chrome lip, thats a pretty hard look to beat.

I say chrome. With your color, it'll look clean & sexy as hell!

I say go black my friend. Black looks more aggressive to me. Black wheels are rare when compared to alloy or chrome.

I think with your color car you should get chrome.  But remember, it's all personal preference get what you think will look best.

Find some nice pics of cars with black and cars with chrome. Who cares what other people like. Personally, I'm not a big fan of black wheels, but like I said, who cares what I think!

Check out the Axis Matrix wheel. Its a gunmetal type gray with a fat polished lip. I saw a set on a Mustang at the dealership and they looked sweet. You can even get them in a 19" size which is kinda rare.

I agree with you BartSimpson, however being he is considering a black racing stripe...I think black wheels would do a lot to accent.  However, like Bart also said....get what you like.  You're going to be the one driving it :)  The gun metal idea might be a good alternative to both black and chrome...kind of in the middle.

How bout you get the best of both worlds...Black Chrome 5 spoke.  These are the rims that would go well on your ride:

I bought a 5 spoke 4 lug set for my black 91 5.0 and i get complements all the time.  I found them by searching ebay for "mustang black chrome (wheels, rims, tire*)"

yea i did start to consider black chrome..but i think im leaning towads black with a chrome lip,or something like that...i got plenty of time to decide since winter and possible snow is right around the corner, theres really no reason for me to buy them now, even though its a weekend only vehicle, probably would be best to wait until about april or so, so i can get a full spring/summer out of them before they see any type of bad weather
