Well, I just wanted to see what other vehicles folks owned and used as daily drivers, Kids buses etc. The reason I ask is..........I just crossed the dark side. I bought a Black 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ 4x4as my daily driver . The appreciation of the vehicle was already taken in the shorts by the original owner. It stickered for 48K and I got it for 32K, and figure he probably paid 41-42K It has 18k miles. I had (still have but need to sell) 98 Ford F150 50th anniversayr package Off Road 4X4. I had it from 99 until now and just felt it was time to upgrade. I really loved the F 150 FX4 Trucks and almost went that route. but this Avalanche has everything , Moon rof, DVD, NAV, Leather and I gotta say it looks pretty good. I have never been one to buy and sell cars every 2-3 years, so I will probably have this for awhile unless I totaly hate it.

Just seeing if others have crossed over ...
Wife drives and 02 Honda Odyssey. You k now for a minivan, I gotta say. I like that vehicle. very versatile as all MV's are.
Never thought I would say that

My daily is an '06 Durango, DW has an '06 Odyssey. She likes hers and I like mine :)

I ride a 1-ton 2001 GM G-Van all week and blow the doors of every plumbing van in my town! I can easily pull a 24.9 in the quarter and probably hit the double-nickel

I only have one thing to say to the Polkmeister......... BRING IT!

Daily driver is a 2007 VW Rabbit. I also have a 2003 Ford Escape.

For the most part i drive a bmw 740 i ... but we have a 2000 chevy pu .. a 2006 chevy monte carlo ss.. and a porsche 911 carrera .... the porsche i have had for many years and will never sell it.....

Thanks for the feedback, I have a buddy that wondered if I was going to post in here that I had bought a Chevy. The feedback here shows that while we all have a similar interest/passion in Saleens, we also seem to have unique interests in other manufactures. The Porsche and Maserati and the Bunnies

are good examples of that.

Thanks again, now I need to see if the wife will let me supercharge the Odyssey

Well...I walk into my 8 car garage and I have to decide which one...either my 2007 C6 Z06, my 1998 Hummer H1 Slantback, my 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, my 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, my 1967 Shelby GT500 Eleanor, my 2007 Mercedes SL65 AMG, or or personal favorite...my 2006 Saleen S281 3V....we all know it makes my day tough but sometimes you gotta live the hardlife in college...

Yeah when I was in College I had a Yellow RUF Porsche, an 85 Lamborghini Countach, A Ferrari F40, 2 Corvette BFGoodrich Speedsters and an 88 Mustang GT.(my Favorite)
It was tough that I had to sacrifice so much at such a young age.

Hey Whoosh that Subrau is pretty nasty I bet with the AWD and Turbo(?)

Thanks. It is AWD and turbo and very quick. The light turbo 4 revs rapidly, but most of the pull doesn't start until the 2500-3000 range. It handles great in the corners, but I do get tire squeal quickly because they're fairly narrow.

Of course, it's been humbled by the Extreme.

Acura MDX and TL (of course the TL is a 6-speed

). Acura has solid customer service. Even if it's something you f...ed up, they have a way of turning it around as though it's their problem.

P.S. When I was in college.....and even into the first year of my fellowship, I drove an 87 Tempo that broke down the day I went to trade it in on my Cobra

. I sold the Tempo for $50.00 (that's right....I'm not missing a zero

)!
