I never said there is anything wrong with a Mustang, as long as the guy driving doesn't think he's badass just b/c he has one. Hell I get revved at by 6 banger Mustangs and I'm running no cat straight to a Flowmaster muffler. It's rediculous.

I despise V6 stangs except for the fact that they keep the better ones coming...cause the sixers are where the money's made.  But basically the sixers are mistaken as a performance vehicle...its like rice except looks better.

you don't need to be s/c to run a stang, i don't have one but at the same time how can a cars stock form be questioned.  the price ot the famed ws6 is comparable to the cobra's.  so for dollar to dollar, the ls1 gets its ass handed to it.  as far as slappin a blower on a ls1 or lt1, for the money you spend on car + parts, give me the same amount and i will eat your gm up..  i am n/a right now and like i said i will be happy to meet ya at a track, beat ya, and have a drink with you afterwards.   as far as the corvette is concerned,  the ford gt will do far more than just smack the taste out a zo6..
The 350 is a GM motor douchebag.
Learn to read Douchebag! That was my point! The only way chevy could compete with the GT was to put a larger engine under the hood, and it was still slow considering it had 48 more ci. It was a pathetic atempt at trying to save what was already known to everyone as a dead weight in the GM line up.  Even the famous LT1 could'nt help this poor excuse of a bucket of bolts.

I was wondering when the FordGT was going to come up. If I had several million in the bank I may invest in one of them but I'd probably lean toward the Lambo. BTW its only about 3500 to supercharge a LS1 motor. You can get a used LS1 pretty cheap.

So you're saying that the stock LT1 couldn't run with the GT? Or are you saying that it would outrun the GT b/c it had a bigger engine? BTW chevy wasn't competing with the GT, it was GM yet again. I still drive a Pontiac.

the gt  should go on limited sale at the begining of the year.  firebird/cameros worst attribute is the rear end..  the motors are strong.  camero's look like s*&, firebirds don't.

Not a fan of camaro or Firebird styling. The formula firebirds are nice with the ram air and the two tone paint scheme. My fav is the new WS6 TA's, the look badass. The new Mustangs look badass with a nice set of Kragar look alikes. Im guessing thats what they are anyway.

GM, chevy, Same thing. Yes the only way GM could compete was with a bigger engine (not  more efficient or powerful) . And one thing you have to remember, just because on paper a car seems to have an advantage doesnt necessarily mean the guy behind wheel will know how to use it. Specialy when its less than a secound.

Definately, our two cars on the street (LT1 and a GT) would come down to the driver. When I first got mine I had a hard time beating anyone due to the fact that I can stomp it at 30 mph in 1st and break the rear end loose, and I have positive traction.
