oh and my LT1 had 48K when i took it home. why did i get rid of it you ask? it was a lemon. i was LS1 shopping but put it on hold because ive never owned a mustang.
Shows how smart you are, LS1 WS6 comes with 65 more hp than a new GT with nearly same price tag.

i never said my LT1 didnt have any punch. i loved it, just had too many problems. a brand new WS6 T/A sold for well over 30g's. and dont give me hp ratings on cars, i know what they put out. a new GT puts out 265 hp, and if you knew anything you'd know that most LS1's dyno about 290, with a few factory freaks over 300. both the C5 base model and SS put down the same numbers. wich means a SS should have the same at the flywheel, making 345, wich gives it 80 hp more than a GT. i raced a WS6 in my Z28, and got dusted by a bone stock LS1. @120 mph he got bored and left me. i've been a camaro fan for many years, and have wanted 4th gen Fbody since my dad bought one in 93. so far i've owned 3 camaros and a formula. right now i own a mustang. so until i buy me a 98 + SS, i'm a mustang owner.

oh and to theo the newbie, wich appears to be a buddy of 95LT1's, he'll race anybody. he's very humble, doesnt talk s**t, and built his car completely from the ground up by hand. he's in the process of opening a shop speacializing in LT-1 and LS-1 engine building. check out his site. it's a bit outdated, but lots of good info on what he's doing there.

There is nothing wrong with being a Mustang owner, I about bought one before I bought the TA. It was a '88 with a 347 stroker. Ran the 1/8th in 6.60 with a small shot on it. Didn't get it b/c it was a drag car and thats about it. However, a LT1 stock will run slightly quicker than the new GT's. Everyone who has a Mustang thinks they're the fastest car on the planet. Fact is, I owned a 1996 GT in my Maxima . Same Maxima vs the TA.......Maxima had a bad time.

Well if he really wants to run, I will not have a problem finding someone for him to run. It's just that I live in NC and I don't think he does. He better bring lots o' cash with him though if he decides to venture.....

No, it's nearly every asshole with a stock LT1 who thinks he has the fastest car in the world.

Nearly 400lbs difference.

I don't have much to say about this, other than why did you register for this board? In my area, I see twice the amount of Camaro's and TA's than I do 2000+ GT's, ironic eh?

LT1's have more hp stock, but garner nearly an extra 400lbs. HP & Weight ratio, tough guy.

like i said before, he's very humble. he doesnt pick fights, he spends more time getting his business off the ground than chasing people down at the track. when he goes, he goes. he may go tommorow night. he's made some changes, and expects to run 10's. this a street car, he drives it to work now and then. if you want to race, he'll do it at the track, in a sportsmanlike manner. if you wanna talk s**t and put him down, he'll walk away from you.

I just said if he wants to run I can find someone. My guy's is a street car also, however, he doesn't drive it. Wayyyyyyy too much money invested to drive. He doesn't run it for free though. BTW, you're the one who said he'd race so who's chasing who down?

Shut your hole wang chung. Just look at the 1/4 mile times. There is nothing to argue with. Do what most others do, slap a supercharger on and then tell me how fast your car is. Classic Ford strategy.

I don't have a supercharger, and I wouldn't have a problem showing you my tail lights, so what's your point again

If its stock, you're going to have a bad time. Maybe you should all do a lil research before you open your mouth. Remember 1) Think 2) Process 3)If it makes sense and won't make you look like an ass, say it. Looks like you forgot #3

Hahaha, I believe his point is, if your stock, or "lightly modded", you have a snow ball's chance in hell, the only way you have a shot at his GM is with hope and dream or massive mods big guy....

Okay, take your own advice retard! Search some posts around here and you would see what I've done to my GT, and you would see it's not stock, and that it's modified, ran 13.8@104 with a 2.2 60 foot time, which means...

DOH with TRACTION I'd be well under 13.8! On the street where I can find traction, goodbye!

dan's car isnt stock. and when i said my friend would race anybody, i meant if you want to race and he's at the track he'll do it. but he doesnt go out of his, just doesnt turn down a race unless he has reason to. lately it's been a lifter problem, but he should have that fixed by now.

Oh yea, that's with "light' mods also.

My 5 speed GT is no slouch for being near stock. Thanks to my heavy feet & right hand.

Haha, when is the dumbness going to stop. I said stock vs stock and if you've read already, I ran quicker than that on street tires dumbass. Just face it, you can't win. I would never brag about having mods and running 13.8 b/c you have s**tty tires. I ran basically the same time with only a mere slowmaster muffler. And yes, before all you smart ppl call me out for mistyping flowmaster, I meant to do it.

13.8 with a 2.2 60 foot time is a STATEMENT TO SHOW THAT I LEFT .2-3 tenths behind on off the line, you jack. Not to mention, your slushbox auto is much easier to get off the line than my 5 speed, oooh yeah, not to mention I have near bald stock Goodyears.

Point being = your an asshole, you are wasting your time here being a troll. It's sad you don't have better things to do...
